Training will begin at the time shown on our Events page and most often consists of both upland and retrieving training. These sessions last until about mid-afternoon or until the last of the dogs have been run. These are group events that count on the help and cooperation of each participant. All attendees are expected to help one each other train the dogs. Regardless of your level of expertise there is always some way in which you, as a participant, can help another person and his or her dog. This location has a number of areas where training can take place and provides a variety of cover conditions throughout much of the year. A small pond is located on the grounds for some simple water retrieving exercises and to keep the dogs cool in hot weather. If you have not been to a training event in the past, we encourage you to read the information found in our training information document that you can access on the Club Documents page. It will give you some ideas regarding items to bring along with you and what you might expect to see at an event.  These events are all about helping one another and our dogs reach ever higher levels of ability. We hope to see you this season!
